Jakarta, 23 October 2018, - Matahari Department Store (“Matahari”) once again participates in Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2019 held at Senayan City, Jakarta. As part of an active player in Indonesian fashion industry, Matahari has always been committed to support big fashion events in Indonesia. This year Matahari held two fashion shows presenting two different themes, In/Out Town which was held on 21 October 2018 and Disney and Marvel Fashion Parade which was held early afternoon today.
JFW 2019 remarks the sixth year of Matahari’s participation in this most prestigious fashion eventwhich is held annually inOctober. Matahari’s participationthis year, remarks the celebration of its 60th anniversary and presents the more fashion forward and on trend collections for its loyal customers. In/Out Town Collection featured casual fashion for young people to wear when they explore the town or travelling out of the town. Disney Collection of “Mickey and Friends” is to celebrate summer fun and it will be available for the fans of all ages in Matahari stores.

Matahari and The Walt Disney Company South East Asia officially initiated collaboration since 2017 and keep continuing to provide the Disney unique shopping experience through its products in all Matahari stores in Indonesia.
