MATAHARI HANDED OVER CUSTOMER DONATION OF IDR 1,300,000,000 TO DOMPET DHUAFA

PT Matahari Department Store Tbk ("Matahari" or "Company"; stock code: "LPPF") handed over an amount of IDR 1,300,000,000 to Dompet Dhuafa which were collected from “Donation through Cashier 2022” program. This program was held on 1 March – 31 May 2022 in all of Matahari’s 140 stores throughout Indonesia in relation to the Festive season during Lebaran period.


Matahari collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa for Donation via Cashier to encourage customers to give donation via Matahari’s cashiers across Indonesia. The donation will be distributed by Dompet Dhuafa to help the needy through several humanities programs in health, environment and education aspects especially for kids.


Matahari’s cashier team streamed their giving back spirit to customers, therefore customers can participated in Donation through Cashier program. All the customer’s donation during this period was given to Dompet Dhuafa, with the total amount of IDR 1.3 Billion.


Internally, the Management of Matahari challenged its cashier team to give their best performance and services to customers, especially during Festive Season. For this challenge, the Management gave appreciation to the Top 3 stores of highest Customer Donation amount. The Management gave the Gift Voucher to all cashier team of the Top 3 Stores, which were Matahari Cibinong, Matahari Ekalokasari Bogor, and Matahari Citimall Sukabumi.


The symbolic hand over ceremonial of Customer Donation and rewards appreciation was held in Matahari Cibinong, Bogor, West Java on Friday, 1 July 2022. This ceremonial was also on air on Instagram Live from Matahari’s instagram @storyofmatahari.
