Matahari Presents Instagrammable Fitting Room Installation

As part of Matahari ("Company"; stock code: "LPPF")’s recent unveiling of its new brand identity and positioning as a ‘House of Specialists’, the Company invites customers to explore something new within both their stores and within themselves through various activities such as Fitting Room Installations, Photo Challenges and Fashion Talks.

As the continuity of this program is over coming months and seasons, the Company rolls out a series of interesting activities for its customers. Under #SambutMatahariBaru campaign, Matahari is creating fitting room installations collaborating with local designers and artists. The fitting rooms are installed at six outlets of Matahari across Indonesia. In addition, Matahari is also holding Fashion Talks and Fashion shows at the same six outlets. The kickoff of these activities starts at Matahari Mall Taman Anggrek on Saturday, 5th November 2022.

Collaborating with five local designers or artists to design these installations, we believe that their magnificent designs and ideas can elevate more fun experiences at Matahari and engage our customers across social media too. We encourage people to come and experience the new Matahari and our four pillars showcased by our new merchandise, great value, elevated customer experience and skilled people.”

Matahari is holding fitting room installation series at six Matahari outlets in Jakarta (Mall Taman Anggrek), Tangerang (Supermal Karawaci), Jogja (Mall Ambarukmo), Surabaya (Tunjungan Plaza), Medan (Medan Fair) dan Makassar (Mall Panakkukang) from 5 November until 10 December 2022. Matahari also invites customers to explore each store in designated locations which have these unique design concepts. For Jakarta and Tangerang, the fitting room is designed by Thomas Kurniawan. While Alodia Yap is designing the installation at Surabaya. Jogja installation is created by Irindhita Laras. For Makassar, June Junia is creating the design and last but not least Darmawan Aji presents his masterpiece at Medan.

To leverage the fitting room installations, Matahari is also inviting customers to participate in the Fitting Room Photo Challenge through social media. The followers can post their photos when they visit the installation and post it on their social media.  Matahari is providing weekly, monthly, and grand prizes of shopping vouchers and/or gadgets for the participants.

Other fun activities that customers can experience at the new Matahari are Fashion Talks and Fashion Show. This event showcases Matahari products and invites fashion enthusiasts and customers to experience the new Matahari.

Fashion talks are interactive events where Indonesian fashion stylists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) present as guest speakers. Before the event, the five fashion stylists are encouraging their followers to ask about fashion issues that they are facing. As the judges, they are going to invite one winner to the event and be styled at the Fashion Show and Fashion Talks. The other five winners get chances to win Matahari shopping vouchers.

The kickoff event at Jakarta on 5 November 2022 is having Sekar Larasati as the fashion stylist and Devano as the KOL. Devano will also attend the Fashion Talks at Supermal Karawaci on 26 November 2022. As for Fashion Talks at Medan (12 November) and at Jogja (9 November 2022) will have Dian Ayu as guest speaker. Nana Mirdad will join at the Fashion Talks in Medan on 3 December 2022 and Andrew White will join later in Makassar on 10 December 2022.
