Matahari ("Company"; stock code: "LPPF") is officially opening its 5th new store this year at Citiplaza Bondowoso, East Java today, after its soft opening on 20 October 2022. This new store is strategically located on the main road at the province, near some of the local government institutions. Coming with a new smaller format concept, Matahari Citiplaza Bondowoso aimed at higher space productivity and also using 100% LED lighting. With a total area of 2,800 m2, this Matahari is the twentieth store in East Java, making a total of 143 outlet in Indonesia.

This mall officially opens today as the first mall presented at Bondowoso Regency, East Java, and will help to uplift the economy of its surrounding community. Matahari will open other a further five new outlets respectively in Gresik (East Java), East Jakarta, Bontang (East Kalimantan), Manado (North Sulawesi), and Kendari (Southeast Sulawesi) in November and December, and making a total expansion of 10 new stores during 2022. Furthermore, Matahari has visibility to open 12-15 new stores in 2023 and is already advancing the forward pipeline of store expansion opportunities and job creation. The total number of stores to be trading nationwide at the end of 2022 will be 148 and is targeted to be160 or more by the end of 2023.
